As a child of God, my job is to do His will and show up by serving others. I believe in the power of prayer, family, and Christian community. In my business, I help women grow self-confidence and recognize their God-given beauty.
I'm a wife, twin mama, fur mama, and stage three colorectal cancer survivor. I balance full-time homeschooling with recording my weekly podcast, creating online courses and filming videos for my YT Channel.
I love a rainy weekend in bed (you can probably see why!) with a good Jane Austen movie or British documentary. I thrive on my AM homemade, rich espresso with foamed oat milk, an excellent skinny margarita, salty, thin tortilla chips - and I also ADORE my homemade bread maker and dining out on fresh sushi!
I have been a licensed Esthetician and makeup artist for over 20 years. I love researching everything beauty-related (so you don't have to, of course.) You'll often find me researching and taking online courses, or browsing the aisle of my local Sephora or Ulta, checking out the latest products, and taking inventory of what is worth YOUR time and money - and what isn't!

Clarity over confusion
My Beauty Philosophy is all about -
I noticed many things going on, but with my skin, I noticed age spots, fine lines, and general dullness. Then, at 43, I was diagnosed with stage three colorectal cancer. The harsh treatments and the emotional rollercoaster of it took its toll, especially on my skin. With children to raise, I started reprioritizing everything, and my beauty routine took a backseat. It took a year and a half, but luckily, by the Grace of God, I beat cancer and was saved. However, as most things in my life returned to normal, my skin had changed. I also noticed I was getting more and more frustrated with the beauty industry, as I noticed their messaging getting fuzzier and more complex. I didn't like what I was seeing.
For one thing, it seemed like everything had exploded. The amount of information and products was mind-boggling. Not to mention the thousands of social media beauty influencers constantly peddling their “favorites” and “holy grail” products.Just getting basic, no-nonsense education was harder than ever. I knew most women weren't getting the information they needed to care for their skin.
I knew that if I was feeling overwhelmed as a licensed Esthetician, other women were probably confused too!
I decided to go back to the basics and rely on my training and new research to create a simpler beauty routine that was easier to navigate and maintain. My results were fantastic! People began to notice, and I was constantly sharing information and advice with friends and family. I decided to start my website and blog to help more women demystify the world of beauty.
A few years later, my signature online Program, “Nude Skin,” was born, followed by my show, the "Beauty Made Simple" Podcast. My mission - to explain skincare and makeup “basics and beyond” to the overwhelmed woman who didn’t understand her skin. I knew more women needed not only basic, but even more "custom" help - something radically different from generic, online advice . Today, I am proud to say that is exactly what my Podcast and Programs do! They create a simple yet elegant way for a woman to have beautiful skin without the confusion of the DIY Google Research game.
